FES! ACCIÒ CLIMA
The FES AccióClima open day was a groundbreaking event that showcased the power of art and culture in addressing the urgent issue of climate action. With a remarkable turnout and overwhelmingly positive feedback, the event was a resounding success. It also featured a diverse lineup of artistic projects from Barcelona, demonstrating how art can be a catalyst for meaningful change by transforming ideas into action.

Through an exhibition of artistic projects, live conversations with change agents and showcases of dance, music and theatre, these conferences seek to motivate other cultural agents, organisations and the general public to promote a culture that defends all forms of life on the planet, placing cultural diversity at the centre as a source of knowledge and innovation.

This project continued the longstanding collaboration between La Murga Visual and Connectats, a partnership that has consistently delivered impactful logos and visual identities for cultural projects. For FES AccióClima, we came together once again to craft a compelling and cohesive visual experience.
As the art director, I led the creation of the entire visual universe for the conference, held at Fabra i Coats, one of Barcelona’s most significant cultural venues. My contributions included:
Logo Design: A distinctive logo that embodied the event's themes of unity, action, and urgency.
Brand Identity: Development of a consistent visual language, including typography, color schemes, and graphic elements, that tied all aspects of the event together.
Social Media Assets: Designing digital content for social platforms to effectively engage the audience and build anticipation for the event.
Video Animation: Producing animated visuals that were screening during the events.
Live Screens Design: Crafting visuals for live screens during the event, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
Event Branding: Transforming Fabra i Coats into an immersive environment with banners, signage, and other branded materials.

A standout feature of the event was the presentation of various artistic projects from Barcelona that tackled climate issues head-on. These projects showcased how art can transcend traditional boundaries to inspire action and create tangible impact. Integrating these initiatives into the conference highlighted the powerful role of creativity in addressing global challenges.

FES AccióClima demonstrated how thoughtful design and art direction can enhance a cultural event’s impact. The cohesive visual identity brought all elements of the conference together and helped communicate its important message effectively.
This project was an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cultural initiative and to collaborate once again with Connectats in using design to support impactful causes.
